Bio Focus is R&D group and manufacturer for in vitro diagnostics products from South Korea. Bio Focus is focusing its efforts on Point of Care Testing (POCT) as its core strategic business for the 21st century. Bio Focus is developing proprietary and unique core technologies for the development of world class rapid immunochromatographic assay and biosensor systems. Our R&D center and factory located at Uiwang city, nearby Seoul, is an up-to-dated manufacturing facility equipped to produce monoclonal antibody, colloidal gold and wide range of rapid tests.
The main factory was established in 2001, and approved for the manufacturing of IVD products from KFDA and also certified ISO 13485:2003, CE accreditation and US FDA cleared.
We are currently providing an extensive range of immunochromatography based rapid one-step tests for infectious diseases for HBsAg, Anti-HBs, HCV, HIV 1/2 and Tumor markers for AFP, CEA, PSA, FOB and Cardiac markers for Troponin I and Cardiac 3 in 1 (TnI, Myo, CK-MB). We also produce highly sensitive urine pregnancy test and ovulation test for professional use and self-testing under its own brand name, BioTracer™, and on an OEM basis.
Our accumulated technologies and experience guarantee the highest qualified products with competitive prices. We are developing new POCT system for quantitative rapid assay using specific monoclonal antibody and electrochemical sensor. The additional core R&D project is HPV E7 test for the early detection of Cervical Cancer caused by HPV infection. This unique test will be the first immunoassay in the world to capture E7 oncoprotein expressed from Human Papilloma Virus.
