Eurofarm S.p.A. is a parapharmaceutical company specialized in the research, production and marketing of a vast range of adhesive tapes and sterile surgical dressings.
Founded in 1979, the company is located in the industrial area of Piano Tavola near Catania. Its covered surface is now about 9000 sq. mt. on a total surface of 32.000 sq. mt.
Eurofarm shares most of the local market supplying almost all Italian hospitals, clinics, medical laboratories and pharmacies. Besides about 30% of production is exported all over the world.
Eurofarm is UNI EN ISO 9002 and UNI CEI EN 46002 certified and authorized by the Italian Ministry of Health to use the CE mark.
During the last few years huge investments have been effected in order to satisfy the requirements of the various markets and to optimize production in conformity with almost all relevant norms (i. e. DIN, BP and Dir. 93/42 EEC). As a result of such a company policy, based on innovation and on a constant search for development, a new area has been built where production is carried out by fully computerized automatic machinery.
Moreover has been invested on a sophisticated sterilization (E.O.) plant, a modern clean room of about 800 sq. mt. and a laboratory of advanced technology responsible for permanently updating the level of quality.
The quality, combined with a production flexible in terms of custom-made products (size, packaging and private label), allows Eurofarm to meet the customer’s demands.
