Traditions of company which FAMED ZYWIEC – Hospital Equipment Company continued go back to the year 1870. Manufacturing simple hospital beds began as early as 1921. The present range of height transformed products of Famed S.A. includes:
universal operating tables made of stainless steel, with battery supplying
specialistic hospital beds for ICU, orthopaedic wards,
cardiology wards, private care
electric gynaecological chairs
dental chairs and units
delivery beds
In order to satisfy different needs of health care, Famed S.A. has also less complicated products in its offer:

There is also a number of products designed especially for doctors’ consulting rooms and family doctors’ cabinets:

We are also able to provide for our customers needs through execution of prototypes according to their wishes. It is possible thanks to our own construction and technological departments, prototype department and experienced staff.
All products posses certificate of Main Medical Technology Centre which is required by Polish law and the products exported to EU Countries are CE marked.
The products are constructed according to EU directive No 93/42/EEC which concerns medical devices and also according to standards harmonised with the a.m. directive which applied to particular type of products ( hospital beds, operating tables, dental units etc.).
Products manufacturing process is based on the guidelines of quality management system on the base of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 standards.
We also posses ” The Certificate of Cleaner Production” what enables us to accede to the Association ” Polish Movement of Cleaner Production” and sign ” International Declaration of Cleaner Production”. Nowadays we are introducing System of Environment Managing according to ISO-14001 Standard and EMAS Programme in our company.
