As Kehr Surgical Private Limited, we pioneered the manufacture of surgical blades in India as early as 1970. Today, we produce a wide range of surgical blades under the well known Surgeon and Kiato brands and command respect from the finest surgeon, dentists and even the most discerning industrial users.
Some of the country’s leading medical institutions today willingly bear testimony to our blades. As do the numerous awards we have won for excellence in various fields. And yet, we have not just secured our leadership within the Domestic market but have also established a formidable Presence on the International scenario. The first Export order from Becton Dickinson in 1975 helped set us on the path of excellence. Since 2000 with the launch of our Kiato range of products there has been no looking back. Today, more than 75 percent of the total production is exported to various parts of the globe, from the United States to Europe and the Middle East and to Africa.
We place the highest emphasis on quality and take every measure to keep pace with the changing face of technology. As a result of this, we invest keenly in research and development. This consistently helps us surpass domestic industry standards and meet international norms. Kiato product quality and process parameters are stringently controlled And monitored at each and every stage of production. Each unit carton is assigned a unique bar coded number, which enables us to track and record process parameters and traceability details of each and every carton.
Our state-of –the art plant is conveniently situated close to the capital, just 30 minutes from the New Delhi international airport, helps service our international clients promptly.
The complete range of medical devices produced by the company is CE marked in accordance with the European Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC. We are presently working on obtaining ISO 14000 certification.
