Kettenbach GmbH & Co. KG. can look back to a more than 40 year history in the manufacture of medical absorbent materials made of pure cotton and regenerated cellulose. During this period, we continuously improved on the material to the extent that the quality of our material is recognized worldwide as one of the best, if not the best.
Today Kettenbach GmbH & Co. KG is one of the leading manufacturers of absorbent medical sponges. Due to the constant improvement and our high quality standard, we have successfully explored new areas of application. Our absorbent swabs, better known as Sugi®, are applied in the following fields: ophthalmology, ENT-surgery, neurosurgery, dentistry, diagnostics, gynaecology, and in various microsurgical procedures.
