The company was initially established by the name and style M.A. Arain & Brothers at Sialkot in 1972 and was duly registered under Pakistan Export Trade Authority, by the two brothers Mr. Muhammad Asghar & Mr. Muhammad Akbar, who were the main partners of the company, with a purpose to engage in the business of manufacturing and export of medical devices.
Within a very short period of time M.A. Arain & Brothers, became a trusted and recognized name for its customers and the company was incorporated and registered as a Private Limited Company, on July 10, 1984,under the Company Act. 1913, with the name and style M.A. Arain & Brothers (Pvt.) Ltd. The company basically remained engaged to its parent business of manufacturing and export of world-class medical-cum-dental and veterinary instruments.
The company started picking up momentum in the early stages of its establishment because of collaborative, committed and devoted endeavors of both the partners. Technical know-how of Mr. Muhammad Asghar and highly versatile international marketing expertise of Mr. Muhammad Akbar helped the company to establish itself on firm and sound footings.
Very soon, after its establishment, the company earned tremendous goodwill on account of its quality products, which were satisfactorily meeting the varied requirements of its customers in the international market. The decade of 1980s except for unexpected demise of the partner Mr. Muhammad Asghar in 1985 could be considered as a golden period in the history of the company.

The unfortunate setback to the business proved short lived as Mr. Tariq Mehmood son of late Mr. Muhammad Asghar, a promising and energetic scion of the enterprising family possessing inherited entrepreneurial capabilities, took over the company’s business.
