Since its founding in 1977, Metaltronica has been following a simple philosophy; to contribute to medical progress through constant steps, towards advanced performances in radiology.
Our experience in the mammography field has lead to the development of a wide range of mammography units, which go from an economic basic model FLAT SE up to the top version FLAT BYM predisposed for three dimensional biopsy. All our units comply to highest technical standards and vary mainly in the aesthetical aspect and the standard accessories.
Metaltronica has developed a rich series of optional accessories such as the fully automatic three dimensional biopsy device, an isocentric C-arm with variable film focus distance, an automatic filter change device Rh/Mo, the digital spot and stereotactic device DIGITAL BYM, a daylight printer, a double anode (Mo/Tungstene) x-ray tube and much more.
All units are equipped with a high frequency generator, dual focal spot x-ray tube and automatic exposure device which guarantees highest image quality at the lowest possible x-ray dose. Furthermore, it is possible to upgrade every model with the available optional accessories.
In a world where the concepts of health care shifts from cure to prevention, Metaltronica aims at the highest levels of reliability and effectiveness. Having chosen mammography as our main line all our efforts focus on the application of innovations in the medical and technological field in all our equipment. For this reason our mammography units distinguish themselves not only by a high competitiveness in price, quality and performance but also by a modern, compact and user friendly design with the typical Italian touch of style.
All these keys are played in synergy, assuring thereby the total quality concept. The standards concerning the quality system for companies, CERT-02675-98-AQ-ROM-SINCERT UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 currently rule the whole internal working process and the results have persuaded a growing number of radiologists.
Thanks to this philosophy today Metaltronica is able to offer to the radiologist four different mammography models:
the basic model FLAT SE,
the millennium model FLAT III (spoken “TERZO”),
the standard version FLAT E
the top version FLAT BYM
Now METALTRONICA is approaching the last challenge in mammography, the FULL FIELD DIGITAL MAMMOGRAPHY UNIT and also in this project we will be faithful to our target: highest technical contents applied to a user and patient friendly system.
