The Company
Moretti can rely on a team working well together and having a remarkable professional experience. Professional practices and advisors, having a well-established and reliable relation with our company since many years, cooperate with this working group. Moretti S.p.A. offers a strong experience in product specialization services, such as orthopaedy, rehabilitation, aids for elderly, homecare and many others. Established in 1976, Moretti starts providing tuscan pharmacies with galenic and over-the-counter products. After 2 years, in 1978 the company distribute surgical and medical products to the health offices in Tuscany. In 1984 Moretti expands its range of business and starts importing directly from European and non-European countries, soon becoming a producer, who introduces its planning and production techniques. Since 21 June 2004 the company becomes a S.p.A. (Joint-Stock Company) increasing the capital stock up to € 500.000.000. On 1st September 2004 with a new business and production strategy Moretti moves to a modern building with a high technological innovation in Cavriglia (Ar), Via Bruxelles 3. Thanks to a company policy focusing on the Quality, Moretti got the UNI EN ISP 9002:1994 in December 1999 and UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 in December 2002, which has been integrated with UNI EN ISO 13485:2004, a specific regulation for companies producing Medical Devices in December 2005. The 2005 has been a “key year” for Moretti: it was the first year in the new building, the year of the publication of its new corporate image by ADI DESIGN, of the different product lines’ specialization with the new marks, and above all of great satisfaction for all the projects that have been achieved. Moretti keeps pace with its customers’ requirements, which stimulate the company to invest in innovation. The 2006 is even more important, because it represents on the one hand the continuity of the company’s strategies and on the other hand it marks the enviable goal of the thirthieth anniversary of the foundation. Moretti always takes care to keep the right equilibrium between the economic growth and the dimensional development of the company. During thirty years Moretti has gained its customers’ confidence with its reliability and far-sighted policy. The customers are increasing in Italy and abroad thanks to the strength of the retained sales network. Since 3 years Moretti has been gradually expanding its field of action coming up to the requirements of the fast growing market and strengthening its business relationships with over 3000 customers in Italy and about 500 abroad
