About us
Polymer Health Technology (PHT)is a leading manufacturer and developer of medical grade coated products for wound management applications.
As a privately owned independent business, based in a purpose built new facility, PHT brings together over 25 year’s experience in the development and manufacture of wound management devices.
With a range of polyurethane foams, adhesive coatings and offering confidential new product development capabilities, PHT develops and manufactures products in partnership with its suppliers and customers.
From simple adhesive coatings to complex wound contact materials , we aim to develop innovative solutions for wound management devices.
With an extensive laboratory and clean room manufacturing facility we can together take ideas from concept through to commercialisation, and we are happy to consider any stage in the development process.
Polymer Health Technology has developed and manufactures a wide range of coated materials for wound management applications
Wound contact foams; hydrophilic foams, soft and conformable they absorb wound exudate whilst maintaining a moist environment to aid wound healing. Hydrophilic foam can also be laminated to film or foam substrates to provide a near complete wound dressing.
Adhesive coated materials; combining a wide range of emulsion adhesives with foam, film, and non-woven substrates to provide a bespoke coating solution.
A contract coating and laminating service is also available.
Additves; can be incorporated into the foam to provide antimicobial or therapeutic benefits.
New Product Development, a totally confidential development facility for coated products from initial concept through to market.
All products are manufactured within a clean room environment, and quality management systems for both development and manufacture are in accordance with ISO 13485.
Whilst our experience is predominantly medical, this capability can often be applicable to other demanding coating applications
