Singapore Precision Engineering & Tooling Association
SPETA is a non-profit trade association formed in 1982, representing manufacturers engaged in the manufacturing of moulds and dies, jigs and fixtures, metal stamping, metal castings, plastic and rubber mouldings, precision machining and companies providing services related to the Precision Engineering and Tooling industry.
SPETA’s objectives are: (1) To marshal and assist with the development of resources and manpower skills necessary and essential to a sound and healthy Precision Engineering and Tooling (PET) industry in the Republic of Singapore in the interests of Singapore and her economy. (2) To present before the government the views of members of the Association on matters affecting the precision engineering and tooling industry, and to make representations to government departments upon such matters that will affect the total competence and competitiveness of the precision engineering and tooling industry. (3) To promote an environment for close interactions and cooperation among members as well as with other trade and government agencies, to identify opportunities for strategic business development worldwide.
