About us
Timesco began trading in 1964 from a small outlet opposite the Middlesex Hospital in LondonŽs West End an was originally established to produce and supply surgical instruments to distributors and wholesalers in England.
In 1980 a move to larger premises in Kings Cross, North London, enabled further investment in staff and resources. By the late eighties, as our sales and product ranges grew,it was a natural progression for us to promote our own-branded products directly to the National Health Service in the UK.
We moved in 1995 to our new corporate headquartes near London City Airport, in the heart of LondonŽs Docklands. A doubling of personal took place including multi-lingual staff to manage and expand our export department.
We also started to trade in multi-currencies. Our product portfolio grew still further and advanced IT systems were introduced to automate our administration and materials processing procedures.
By 1996 we had established brand-leading product ranges in both the domestic and export markets and in 1997 we increased the guarantee on our core instrument range from 5 years to Lifetimetestament to the outstanding quality of our products and the unrivalled customer care policy we had introduced.
Today, Timesco is internationally recognised as one of the leading producers and suppliers of theatre quality (OR) surgical instruments, servicing the UK with our own direct sales force and exporting worldwide through over 100 distributors and agents.
